Welcome

Locks Heath Lions is voluntary run club with boys and girls starting from the Under 6 age group with Mid Solent League teams through to Under 18. Very much an inclusive club, based from Brookfield School in the Locks Heath area, we strive to provide competitive and fun football for all ages enabling our players to develop and progress in a sporting and fair environment. As a Football Association Charter Development Club our volunteer coaches and managers meet the requirements set by Hampshire FA and comply with Hampshire Child Welfare regulations to ensure the best possible environment for our players.

But we are more than just football. As a club, we have our own club values using the acronym R.O.A.R (respect, optimism, aspiration and resilience). These values set our players up on and off the field. The club celebrates our players football successes but also players that show these values individually or as a team.

We believe that the club belongs to the coaches, players, and their carers/parents. Therefore, we engage with our club community through various ways including handbooks, club zooms or meets, youth forum, social events, ‘meet the committee’ events and our Facebook page. We work as a club to raise money through cake sales, raffles, fun runs. We are always looking for people to take on roles in our club, and everyone is welcomed to be involved.

If you have a son or daughter that is interested in football and want to join our amazing community, please feel free to contact us, to see how we can help.
